Sofie Katrine Lassen-Kahlke was born on July 18 1979 in Denmark, and was discovered by producer Regner Grasten. She attended an acting academy in Hollywood in 1998 along with Robert Hansen, and made her debut as Anne in Vildbassen (1994). Her big break came as Kaffe-Hanne in the TV series "Brødrene Mortensens jul" (1998).
She has also been in several Danish musicals, such as Askepop.
Besides being an actress and a singer, Sofie is also a law student.
Has a 6 year younger sister named Ditte with whom she plays golf.
Started law school because she was unsure of making a living acting. Both parents are lawyers.
Voted as #17 on the Top 100 Sexiest Women 2004 in FHM [DK]
